These seeds are from Trachycarpus fortunei, also known as Chinese Windmill Palm, and Chusan. This palm does well in full sun or partial shade where it can grow up to about 40 feet tall. The yellow and white blossoms are on display from late spring until early summer where it attracts a wide variety of birds, bees, and butterflies. Some people cook the young flower buds and eat them as vegetables. USDA Hardiness Zones 8 to 11.
