This is Punica Granatum Nana, also known as Dwarf Pomegranate, and pomegranate nana. This shrub burst into bloom in the middle of spring ending in early summer. The beautiful fruit pops with colors of red and dark red but only grows to be about 4 feet tall. The fruit that come off this shrub can be eaten along with the leaves and the seeds.
