These seeds were collected from Rhododendron griffithianum. These beautiful white flowers start out with a pink hue and then turn white and fragrant. They are on display throughout the middle of the summer. The plants can get about 12 feet high. Rhododendrons in general are larval host plants for the Gray Comma, Appalachian Tiger Swallowtail butterflies, and the Elegant sphinx, Spotted Rhododendron, Tetracis jubararia, and Rhododendron Borer moths.
