These seeds were collected from Nymphaea caerulea, also known as Blue Egyptian lotus, blue water lily, blue Egyptian water lily, and sacred blue lily. It is also called by the synonym Nymphaea nouchali var. caerulea according to the USDA. This water flower likes to live in full sun where its gorgeous blue and violet blossoms are repeatedly on display from the middle of the spring until the middle of the fall.
