These seeds were collected from Cupressus sempervirens, also known as Italian Cypress, Mediterranean Cypress, drama tree, Persian cypress, the churchyard cypress, Tuscan Cypress, and Pencil Pine. These trees like to live in full sun to partial shade where they can grow about 40 feet high. The wood from this tree was used to build The doors of St. Peters basilica, and Italian harpsichords.
