These seeds were collected from Centrosema pubescens, also known as centro, and butterfly pea. Growing to about a foot and a half high this perennial has beautiful pink and purple flowers that resemble clitoria. The seeds are not edible for humans but they are used in farm fodder fed to the chickens and cattle. The seeds are a good source of calcium, protein, and potassium. USDA Hardiness Zones 10 to 12.
