Here I am offering F2 seeds from my hybrid Aristolochia pohliana x galatea. Most of these seeds will revert back to one of the parents, either pohliana or galatea, but you may also have some unusual plants as a result of the hybrid seed. After hybridization you have a first batch of seeds. These are the F1 seeds and the cross gives you seeds for the plant Aristolochia pohliana x galatea. Now when this plant goes to seed, and these are the F2 seeds, most of those seeds revert back to one of the parents. But you may also get some peculiar plants which you may like and decide to cultivate yourself. All Aristolochia species, except for the Aristolochia gigantea, are larval host plants for the Pipevine Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, and Mylotes Cattleheart butterflies.
