This is Aristolochia Galeata. This plant likes to live in sun or partial shade and blooms from late Spring until early Fall. These can get to be about 3 feet high and have these amazing brown and maroon blossoms. The heart shaped leaves are a nice backdrop for this unusual blossom. This can be grown in a basket or trained to climb a lattice. All Aristolochia species, except for the Aristolochia gigantea, are larval host plants for the Pipevine Swallowtail, Polydamas Swallowtail, and Mylotes Cattleheart butterflies.
