These seeds are from Eclipta prostrata, also known as false daisy, yerba de tago, Karisalankanni, and bhringraj. This sunflower has been very successful at spreading itself around much of the world. The young leaves and shoots are collected and cooked as a vegetable. A black dye is produced from this plant. It is used for tattooing and making hair dyes. This Annual grows in all Hardiness Zones.
