This is Asclepias incarnata Carmine-Rose Cinderella. The Cinderella cultivar was selected for its gorgeous color and full bodied blooms. This plant grows 3 to 4 feet high and attracts several birds, bees and butterflies. It should be planted in the full sun where it will bloom from the middle of the Summer until late Fall. Asclepias in general are documented nectar sources for the Monarch, Orange-edged Roadside-Skipper, Dina Yellow, Carus Skipper, Eastern Tiger Swallowtail, and Falcate Metalmark butterflies.
