These seeds were collected from Ornithogalum umbellatum, also known as Eleven-oclock Lady, Nap at Noon, Doves Dung, Snowdrop, and Star of Bethlehem. The bulbs can be eaten raw or cooked, and the flowers are sometimes baked into bread. These bulb forming perennials like to live in sun to partial shade where they grow about a foot high and have beautiful white blossoms from late spring until early summer.
