This is Ficus semicordata, also known as Drooping fig. The flavor of the fruit is delicious. A very nice tasting sweet and sour flavor that reminds me of gooseberries. The fiber from the bark is used to make rope. This tree is also grown in many places where it is to be used as a shade tree. Ficus, in general, are larval host plants for the Fig sphinx moth, and the Antillean Daggerwing butterfly. USDA Hardiness Zones 10 to 11.
